European Roadtrip 2016

Joining the rank of thirty-somethings today! Yup, I’m 30 even when people don’t believe me when I tell them my age (eternally 25?).

I have no qualms about leaving my 20’s behind. I enjoyed the past decade – I did some things right, I screwed up with others, I embraced my fears and took risks, and I had a lot of fun in the process. I feel good about turning 30 because I’m absolutely at peace with where I’m at and who I am. Yay! I thank the Lord for teaching me that gratitude is where JOY is at. And that every “situation” is a gift from Him.

I know I won’t be able to live everywhere I want to live, meet everyone I want to meet, see everything I want to see or do everything I want to do. But the important thing is, I’m never going to stop trying to.

Here’s to another decade of lessons, and to hoping that they aren’t as hard as the ones I learned in my twenties! Haha!

Up until this day Lord, your love for me overflows. You blessed me with family, friends and true love. And I am living my dreams as well. I will praise and glorify your name all the days of my life. {Psalm 146:2}
