Now for the most awaited part of any wedding — the reception! (Hey, who doesn’t love buffet food? :p)
This is the part where Ge and I could have gone on a serious face stroke for too much smiling in compulsory ‘official’ group photos (formal and wacky), the part where we were being pulled from one corner to another for more random pictures, and the part where we just had to sacrifice our chance to have dinner for more pictures to be uploaded in social media. NO! I am not complaining. Seriously, I miss all these people in my life and I’m happy to meet new ones on Ge’s side of the company. I won’t mind if we just take pictures all night. Honestly, I wish we had more time to mingle with them, catch up, or know them more but it’s just so difficult to be in so many different groups and participate in a lot of activities at the same time. :)
Happily, everyone enjoyed the food (our guests are raving about it), the program, the photo booth, the games and the goodies!
Our wedding photos and videos reminded me of the different emotions I had on every moment. The joy in seeing the happy faces of our dear family and friends, the satisfaction and pride when I saw how our DIY projects came to life (made all the sleepless nights worth it), the crazy laugh trip in the course of the program, the heartfelt words during speech time and all the many other things in between .
This day was truly magical, my dream wedding came true! There are no words to explain how happy I am to be celebrating this special day with the people that matter to us.
I want to take this chance to thank everyone who has shared their lives with us (whether you made it to the wedding or not!). You all have been part of our life, of who we are, of our story and we will be forever grateful for that.
We love you BIG time!
