Last Easter weekend, we visited Tesselaar for the first time and was treated to a visual feast of pretty blooms in celebration of the first Kabloom – Festival of Flowers. There’s food, entertainment, fun activities for kids, and lots of photo opportunities for family shoots and perfect selfies.
The famous Tesselaar Tulip Festival which happens every spring has been running for 60 years, and adding Kabloom Festival of Flowers on autumn season doubles the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful fields of colourful flowers. It’s nice to be surrounded by vibrant farms at this time where it’s fall in Australia, and the rest of the world are enjoying the first blooms of the year. I didn’t even know that flower fields could exist in autumn, too. Aah, the changing seasons and this world never stop to amaze me. Even better, it’s just around what we call home right now. I am truly loving Melbourne so far. :)
If you haven’t been, don’t miss out the last weekend of Kabloom Flower Festival ‘til April 15.
